Gwen Donahue

Gwendolyn joined the lab after earning her BS with honors in Biology from Stanford University in 2024. While an undergraduate, she worked in Dr. Ian Gotlib's lab studying the intersections of neurobiology and mental health in adolescents, writing a thesis on leveraging biological measures to predict later mental health outcomes. In the Palumbi lab, she works on studying kelp forests using environmental DNA and assessing coral heat tolerance. Outside of the lab, she enjoys diving, backpacking, tidepooling, and crafting.
